Congratulate me, Bitches, and Bow Down:
May. 9th, 2005 11:42 pmI got into fucking Grad School. Suck it.
*Does the "Hell Yeah, I'm Smart" Dance*
PJ Harvey - [The Garden]--- The rest of today was long, and boring, until i talked to some people, about some things, and met another person, from Adult Swim, at work. Talking to Strangers paid off. People coming to the party. It's amazing. Because I Got Into Graduate School! Hah!
Kathryn McClymond emailed me, this afternoon... Freakin' Sweet!
Sorry.. I'll calm down...
Hung out with people, tonight, and read more of the Scientific American. The more i read science, the more i think of magic. The more i think about optics, and quantum physics, the more i think about conjury, obfuscation, and alchemy. It's wonderful. Also, life becomes more like a William Gibson novel, every day, with the advent of Neuromorphic retinas, being silicon-based things that mimic the retinal function, pattern, and connectivity. (Buffy the Vampire Slayer Cast - [Sweet's Lair]). Optical replacements/enhancements. So very awesome.
Jack Off Jill - [Don't Wake The Baby]--- From "The Book of the Secrets of Enoch: How God Founded the Water, And Surrounded It With Light, and Established on It Seven Seas": 'Thus I made the firmament. On this day I called myself the first created. Then it became evening, and then again morning, and it was the second day."
LUXT - [Parasites]--- God created itself. Deal with it.
I'm out, kids. Lots of things on my mind... But i did it. I got in...
Shit yeah..
{11.55pmEDT:Tom Waits - [Table Top Joe]--- Also? I kick major ass, becuase of this:
"You may be aware that as of July 1, 2005, the Religious Studies department will be offering a Masters in Religious Studies, and you should consider whether the Masters in Philosophy with a concentration in Religious Studies or a Masters in Religious Studies is better suited to your long-term plans." - Kathryn McClymond
....I'm in the Religious Studies Track, in the Philosphy Masters... I'm one of the LAST. Because RELS is its Own Department, starting July 1st.
I kick so much Ass.}
