It was not wonderful, but it certainly was not horrible. Thank you to everyone who sent thoughts of encouragement. I really appreciate it.

Pop Will Eat Itself - [Babylon]--- Remember what i said woke me up, this morning? Here it is: NPR's Speaking of Faith Series: Quarks and Creation. Theologian and Particle Physicist John Polkinghorne, discussing why science and religion aren't incompatible. A few things with which i disagreed, but fewer than tends to be normal, for these things... I'm very pleased. I listened to it, while watching "What the Bleep Do We Know!?," on mute, with subtitles.

Have you ever had smoke feel solid? That's what my progress feels like, these days. Dark, nascent, stengthening, tenuous, and sound enough upon which to walk....

The Smiths - [Panic]--- [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel gave me a copy of David Foster Wallace's Everything and More: A Compact History of ∞. (Panacea - [Lowtek (Intro)]). I started reading it, today... It's brilliant. I am going to email this man, when i'm done reading it. Which reminds me, i need to read more of Douglas R. Hofstadter's work (he told me i should), so i can e-mail him, again. I enjoyed what few conversations we had...

It's been a pretty good day, today. All things considered...

Later.

A day spent filling yourself with nothing and everything...no wonder I was itching at the edges of my skin, my Self, for most of the day...

Yeah. I e-mailed Hofstadter... Told him about the BI/OS stuff... I'm hoping to he writes back...
