Things my Father has Done, Today...

Warren Zevon - [Sacrificial Lambs]--- My Father sent me an application to the DOD: DISA Summer Internship. That's Department of Defense: Defense Information Systems Agency.

I'm going to apply. I've got nothing else to do, this summer, so why the hell not. It gets me a security clearance, money (lots), and a look at the inside workings of various parts of the government. They'll probably do a background check, but the way i look at it, they probably have a Large file on me, due to my Mother and Father. So *shrug*.

Plus it gives you all an excuse to road trip it up to see me, this summer. I'm going to talk to my family about it.

You have a very good advantage because of your parents. It is MUCH easier to get security clearance if someone in your family already has it because of the workup they have done on you because of the family member.

Government agencies are more likely to pick someone they have to spend less money on to research than someone they know nothing about.

Trust me on this - I have it from very reliable sources.
