The only thing that bothers me about the first one is the anatomy, which makes me want to beat someone with a copy of Grey's Anatomy. It's not totally horrible, but it's... sloppy.

Yeah, that seems to be what's making it all fall apart. The perspective doesn't quite work, so... neither does much else. Although I really don't like the face, for some reason, and I don't think it's because of the perspective... Hn.
