The Dresden Dolls - [Mrs. O (Live)]--- What this means, in a psychological context, is that we choose our personalities, the collections of preferences which will guide us, as a birthing action into existence (another old idea). (Oingo Boingo - [Gratitude]). If we are part of a "single energetic consciousness," as the energy monists would put it, then, to display differences, we must be permutations of that infinite energy. We must have preferences, to become incarnate, in this reality. But this is not simply energy monism; this is not about "returning to the source, from which we all sprang." This reality is about understanding, growth, and change.

Everything we see around us changes. It passes through stages of existence and eventually reconstitues, back, into the whole. But it is no longer what it was, when it left, through the simple expedient of having left, in the first place. It has experienced things, and learned things, and is itself, independent of the whole, as well as a vital part of it. (Tykwer,Klimek,Heil - [Running Two]). This means, simply, that it is itself, and that is the point. It has regained a completeness, but it has re-realised a constituent of that infinity, that it had "lost," prior to its incarnation. It is an individual, and a constituent.

Without the conception as the whole and particulate, the indivdual and the conglomerate, the "Unique Borg," the picture of the infinite is incomplete. Every experience and every thought, word, deed, point of view is as certain and whole and completely true, as every other. (kidneythieves - [Feathers]). They are all necessary parts, and all lessons to learn. We chose our paths, through the universe, before we start. But this does not mean that they are set in stone. Choices breed choices, and, when we allow facets to inter- and react, we cause new, unforseen combinations of the whole. New choices to make, new directions to take, on the path of the whole.

What guides us, is our drive toward change. We move toward becoiming what we are, in the whole: Our personal permutation of the Infinite Algorithm. (Tenacious D - [Tribute]). This contains within it, much like the line between one and zero, an infinity of its own. This is a reflection and a facet of the thing, itself, which is also, in this case, the thing. The best map of the territory is the territory, itself, but being within it, we cannot see it, for what it is. We have to stand on a different vector, "apart" from the territory, to see a route layed out, before us, to guide us through.

The contents of our conscious, preconscious, and sub-conscious minds are all determined by the choices we make, and the initial set of choices we make are determined by the perceptual and observational points we choose, when we bring ourselves into existence. (Interpol - [Roland]). Our problems can be lessons from which we learn, or blocks that wear away at us, a bit at a time, as we throw and scrape ourselves against them. The more problems we integrat, and the more we grow, the more our observational set comes to include the whole. From our personal vector. And that, too, is the point.

Voltaire - [The Last Word]--- Continuation hit me, as i was thinking about what i hadn't integrated, yet. The psychological angle needs to be more fully developed, but the whole thing does, so... It will be. This is a start, though.

I need to make myself tired, so i can get up at 8, tomorrow.

ACK. We are surface tension. We are the point where the surface tension of...something...is pierced. Or our minds are at least. Everything is that point where it touches existence itself, but since nothing really touches...

I think I just shorted.

The only beef I have, and a very small beef, is that there isn't an infinate between Zero and One... even broken down to the smallest of the small it will soon have to be added to equal one. Then again that would equate to an equal matter discussion and we don't want that. All and all I really enjoyed the read. Dang you type alot.

But the same can be said of The Infinite. Infinity is still a unit whole, and all of of its infinite constituent parts still add to make it Itself.

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks.

Yeah, i do type a lot... I have a lot on my mind, most of the time.

huh... and here I was believing that infinity was a unit between units, or a unit beyond all units, yet totally undefined. Thanks for clearing that mess up. BTW, loved the cartoons. Need to get in contact with me sometime.

It's that, too, or it wouldn't be Infinity, now would it?
