wolven7Flogging Molly - [Death Valley Queen]--- I saw a dead snake, in the road, today. That made me kind of sad. I can only hope that one of the mulitude of Ravens, around here, ate the remains.
I was freaking out, last night, about an assignment, for which i didn't have the book. Ben was kind enough to do me a solid, and pick the book up, for me, today, while he was down at school. I just did the assignment, in 15 minutes. It was to link two web pages, and use number lists, on the second. For links. That's what this class is: Panic, not because something is difficult, but because it's so easy, that i forget about it, and, when it's due, i have to rush to get it done. Then i feel really stupid, about how much i freaked. But whatever. It'll be ok.
Re-reading "Transmetropolitan," again, for the who knows how manieth time. It's getting near election time. I hope you vote right.
And no, that has nothing to do with for whom you vote. (Tom Waits - [How's It Gonna End]). It has everything to do with if and why you vote. If you vote for, as one of my heroes' subconscious puts it, "blowjobs and soap opera," then be sure that you garner my contempt, this November the 2nd. Do not hide, now; this is not the time. It is time to be informed, fully, and rise up and do what you think is right. Whatever that happens to be. If you don't exercise your rights, like any other muscle, they'll wither up and die. And when it comes to the right to choose how you fucking live, is that what you really want?
hell, we all know that part of my goal is to become the monster against whom you can all rally, and at the same time worship and fear. I make no secret about that. Then i'll disappear, right at the point when you're at your most fervent, and frothing; i'll leave you confused, and naked, in the snow, icicles forming in places you'd rather they not. (Jarboe - [Deflowered]). Because i fucking love you, and want the best, for you. I want you to understand the importance of choice.
