"What you're doing , here, what you want to be. You form-fit, so well, it's easy to lose the thread of what you said you wanted to be."

"I know."

"Know which?"

"All of it."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. I know what i'm tying to do, to be, and where i'm trying to go. I know what it means to me, and where it's supposed to lay, in the scheme of things. I know how to make myself dance in the hearts of stars, and remember my names, through the years. I know."

He blurred, at the edges. "Okay. But do you know that you know?"

He woke up.
