wolven7Oingo Boingo - [Winning Side]--- i was feeling Paranoid, there, a second... i've been feeling that way a lot recently... i get this feeling like there are eyes watching me, all the tyme, and like people are trying to figure out what i'm doing... i want to make it stop... Things that, by all rights, should be beneficial and happy-making.... Aren't. So, appy polly logies in advance if i seem a bit oddy knocky in me gulliver. Perhaps a few eggy wegs and lomiticks of toast would do me well...

Yeah. Sometymes, people snap, and they still care, and they want to help people, and keep them from hurting themselves, and each other. They realise that, with free will involved, they will always hurt each other. It's a human waste product. Rather, it's a waste product of existence. You exist, you do things, people get hurt, that's the way it works. But-- only when you've snapped, of course-- You think you kno whow to fix it. And it generally ends, one of two ways, depending.
Pop Will Eat Itself - [Everythings Cool]--- If you are really angry at the free will for making people so able to hurt themselves, you'll try to take it away. You'll make with the slavery, and the dictatorship. If you make their dicissions FORthem, then they can't hurt themselves, and Everything's Cool... But what do you do if you Still belve in free will? What Do you do, if you think free will is the bes tthing ever, but still don't want them to hurt themselves? Well, i'd have thought that was obvious.... You kill them.
If you kill them, they are unable to hurt themselves and each other. They can't make decissions, anymore, and if you tell them why you're killing them, then maytbe, just maybe, they'll learn something, and do better next tyme... Well, we can hope, can't we? *sigh*

Usually, what ends up happening is This: The local constabulary, unaware, or uncarring, in regards to your noble and righteous intentions, Do their best to round you up, and hunt you down, and they pray that you resist. If you resist, they can use deadly force, thusly removing the "Menace" from the streets. But they won't understand what you were trying to do. They won't understand and they won't care. And you'll have died, or been sentance, without anyone understanding you, save the lone fanatic, who will take it as far as you did, which is exactly what you were trying to prevent... And it begins again.
