MC Chris - [Fuckin' Up My Christmas]--- Talking with [livejournal.com profile] saxshooter made me remember some things... I remember, when i started lj; i said i'd try to never go above 20 people on my friends list, because i didn't want to have that many people reading me, or me be reading that many people. I wanted a mark of distance from what i perceived lj to Be, i.e. a soul-sucking waste of my time and life ^_^

Peter Murphy - [Marlene Dietrich's Favourite Poem]--- But that changed, when i realised that the people i was getting to read were good (in an ephermeral sense of the word), interesting, insightful people, so far as i was able to know of them, and i enjoyed reading them, and having them able to read me. I've met a lot of interesting people, through this thing, and i'm grateful for that, and, more often, i've dragged or run into people i know, from other parts of my life, here. It is a tool for communication, and community, spread, diversified, interlocking , and sometimes sectarian, and all of those things, at once, with the same people. It's great.

You people, the ones on my "Friends" list... a lot of you , that title doesn't feel quite right. That may be due to it being too little, or too much, or perhaps simply too Different, from how i consider you, but you are there, and i'm glad to have you there, and glad to be there, with you.

German Military - [Panzer Lied]--- Those of you, adding and watching, who haven't commented yet, comment. Chime in. I don't feel comfortable standing on a soap box, if people aren't yelling things back at me.

But i'm sure you've figured that out, by now. ;)

Again: Good night.
