Cake - 10 [It's Coming Down]--- So, there was dreams, lastt night, of Being at Grady, only Grady was a combination of Grady, the Midtown Plaza, across the street from Grady, and GDS, my elementary school. (Voltaire - [They Know Me]). So, me and [livejournal.com profile] mendori were walking around, going to lunch at the Mellow Mushroom Pizza, there, because it was, in fact, the Midtown Plaza, as well as those other places, so we walked out the front door, which had a bit of Horizons, to it, and there was Jonothan Colby, a kid we knew in high school, sitting in a cherry blossom tree. We walked down and around, which was like the outside back of GDS, by the fields, and the vending machines, and the art rooms. We went to the Mellow Mushroom, which was also Cafe Diem (also in the Plaza), At Night. Though it was Day, Cafe Diem, was perpetually night. (Gary Numan - [The Angel Wars]). There was the feeling of a field, and a hill that i've had in my dreams, before. I think it stemmed from memories of that part of town, anyway, and others.

Next section i was at Patrick's house, only it was my grandmother's house, in DC, with Patrick's old apartment, turned sideways, inside of it, so it would fit. I was going over, to play some RPG with Patrick, [livejournal.com profile] bakeneko, and Kim, because we had had saome falling out, and the RPG was the only way to mend our social trangressions against one another. A feeling,t here, like more cherry blossoms, in a field, but still inside, in a stuff kitche. Maidoc was being really hyper, and that meant something, but i don't remember What, now. But she was, at once, highly aggitated, with my presence, and very happy to see me.

That's about when i woke up, for the day.

I watched "Hero," with Jet Li, again, tonight. (Voltaire - [See You In Hell]). The original Chinese release, not the one that'll be out, in a month, or so, here. I so love that movie. It's a member of the Wuxia school of cinema, which basically means "Flying Sword Fighting." "Crouching Tiger..." (bleh >_<), "Storm Riders," and "Xu Warriors," are all members of this genre. See them. Except maybe "Crouching Tiger." I really didn't like that movie. Not Ang Lee's best, at all. But that's my opinion. *shrug*

Anyway, i'm going to go back to the things i was doing, with the conversation, and the Etcetera.

Later all.

I thought that, conceptually, Visually, it was Gorgeous... i was highly displeased with the story, and the direction could have been better... And that ruined it for me, as a whole. I can look at it, and think Ooh Pretty... but i can't Watch it.

"Hero" was Much better, in my opinion. Much. *shivers* When it comes out, do yourself a favour, and See It.

So, what is better by Ang Lee? I am curious, as you dislike both Hulk and CTHD and I think they are some of his best work.

I liked Hulk, ok, directing and story-wise. Just thought visual effects could have been handled better.
