'People... are very much, at this point, wrapped in a sense of Destiny, or Duty, or Purpose, and something that they do not, themselves, dictate. They feel as if they are not directing their lives, or, if they are, like there's not use in a Deeper understanding of what they do. It's about the moment, the money, the noteriety. It's not about figuring themselves. For the most part.
'There are, of course, exceptions.
'This, it seems, is a state that mires itself in a one step after the other, no intent behind actions, Zombie-Like state of being.They are allowing themselves to be run by things they dub as unseen forces (Higher Selves, Gods, Endless, Whatever) Instead of taking control and Wroking WITH these things, if these things must be dealt with. Consensus, and planning, with the entities (society, science, determinism, Whoever.), rather than saying "It's too big, it's too much, i don't know, and i can't." And, more than Saying that, simply Feeling it, unconsciously, and letting it dictate. . .
'Yeah, the thoughts about the Tower are definately there (i thought of those, from the Hotel), and something that thinks it's higher up, and therfore Better, in the Tower, is... being allowed to dictate, to a lot of people, about whom i care, in one way or another. And i really want them to think for themselves.'
Allowing to be used, and giving over, because it's an easier route... Something with which i'm never, ever entirely comfortable. So, i strive against that... And would, at the very least, like to see other people acknowledge that maybe their wil is the driving force in their universe.
Today, in World Religions, we talked about more Hinduism. We talked about Multiversal thought, and Time, and how, in every universe, there is a Creator, a Sustainer, and a Destroyer. And i posed that, maybe they're all aspects of the same three things, which are, themselves, aspects of the greater Total Thing, including all realms, and immanent in all things, of which we are all all Facets, which has, its self, a continual cycle of Creation, Continuation, and Destruction. What i didn't add was that those facets are, themselves, as individuals, of equal importance as the whole. Points of view, and angles of understanding... They are singular, each, and whole...
But this is, of course, nothing i haven't said before. I simply keep saying it, and the others, and the whole cycle, in varying manifestaitons and forms, to see if one of them touches you.
Someday, i'll say something new. And, on that day... Well... We'll see.
