Religiously, the Chicken came first, having been created, and all. Honestly, it probably could have spontaneously generated, if it tried.

Reading more Hofstadter (still not as much, nor as quickly as i should, but...), and i've been trying to find something to link it all, in my head. Some vector from which to approach it, that it connects, on a surface level, and not simply in that way that everything is connected, like butterflys and tornadoes. The section, at current, is DNA, RNA, ribosomes, and replications, of the same. The question has just been posed-- and only briefly regarded-- "If ribosomes are made of proteins, and proteins are made by ribosomes, then which came first?" He leaves it as unanswered, and says that it "vanishes over the horizon of time." This is not necessarily true, though...

I've always had this idea of the multiverse as having spontaneously generated itself out of the void. Quark and Quanta. Self actuallizing, and then building strings, and replicating itself, like atoms, moplecules, DNA, cells. Varying and diversifying itself, into things like universes, galaxies, and so on, down to things that can, oddly, spontaneously pop in and out of existence, as they will. Quanta. Quark. Spiral-like, inwards, and outwards. Kind of a size relationship. But whatever. Could the process be spontaneous? This is an actual question to any of you withmore knowledge of the subject of Cellular propigation, than I.

If it's not possible, then which does come first? And how? If no answer, then how said that independent, synchronous, spontaneous generation of the two is not possibly? Simply some things on my mind.

And i'm still kind of chest and nose congested. But i'm a damn sight better than i was yesterday, and Saturday night.

Later.

Yeah, it's a neat question, on lots of levels, and, at the very least gets conversations started. :)
