Thoughts of calling out the president in Debate. I really want to...
And then there's this Blackout.... Now, ordinarily, i'm not at paranoi--- Ok, so that's a dirty lie. (Claude Debussy - [Jeux de Vagues]). Ordinarily i'm a vEry paranoid person, and i think about shit like this, all the time, and every possible way to minimize danger and Risk, but that's Beside the point, for the moment. The point is This: I was, of course, reading Difference Engine, today, and section of D.E. dealing with the Catastrophic break down of London. So, then... Shortly thereafter, this whole thing.. so i start to get a bit freaked. I worry, as some of those i would like to consider as, in some way, within my circle, or i theirs, or ours converging, in some respect, reside in the affected areas... And i Hope that they all have enough sense, to keep their Sense.
Calmness. Emotions run High, yes, but all that acating upon severe emotion and panic ever does is get more people hurt. Fight or Flight is not all it's cracked up to be. Now i'm seriously contemplating the necesary Safety measures that should be in all buildings, eerywhere, especially those over a certain number of stories. Because, oh yeah, there are people trapped in elevators, and there are situations where they Might Be as such, and their only hope may be saving Themselves. Let's make that a possibility, eh? Shit.
