An Isomorphism, in terms of systems, is what happens when two or more complex systems find that they have similar Forms, and Functions. It's the act of drawing Analogues... Showing the relations between complex, seemingly disparate systems. An Endomorph, then, is a system enclosed within another, similar system. There are other meanings, for these terms, and they all draw analogous or are contained within the given. hehehe ^_^
Reading Douglas Hofstadter, when you've had the kind of synchronous goings on, i have, is probably not the Best of ideas. Or one of The best ideas. *grins* System symbolism, understandings, translating sets into understandable language... Oh yes... If this man is alive, i Must meet him. He and Pirsig...
