May. 20th, 2003 10:44 pmPoe - [Amazed]--- I've gotten into the habit of reading the CNN website, recently, so as to reasonably keep up with the news. My main problem, here, is that i can't be assured of an unbiased Stance, on the news. It seems as such, quite sure, but when was everything totally as it seemed? So i would like to ask you people, out there in Internet Land, to give me suggestions for sites to read, for the news. I'm looking for things like BBC, or other Non-U.S. affiliate groups, as well as those within the country. I'm also ok with things with Definate biases, to the "Right" or "Left." If they are biased, i want Clear bias, but also Facts.
If you haven't seen, the "Terror Alert Level" for this country has, once again, been elevated to High. There are unconfirmed reports, and intercepted transmitions. And the Like. I wish i were in a position to caution against Fear. Because that's what terror is all about. If we're This Afraid then, to use a much-ballyhooed phrase, "The terrorists have already won."
Later.
