A little Truth, for the day...

Better Than Ezra - [Desperately Wanting]--- So, I went a little nuts, in metaphysics, today. I started ranting about the fact that, no matter what we do, in the world, whether we claim physicalism, or Non-physicalism, we end up ascribing properties of one camp to the other, at least in Part. Our physical things can Cause non-physical effects, or Have non-physical properties. Our Non-physical things, we still want to ascribe properties like location in space, and time. Physical properties. (Bjork - [Army of Me]). Why, then, do we continue to Insist upon dividing things into Either/Or?
The more i think about these things, the more i realise that i've been this way, since i was a very small child... I've always been a big fan of the Third Way, whatever that way is. I'm looking to show that "Hybrids" may not really be a synthesis of two common factors, but, rather, the "Factors" may simply be things we decided to Break up. (Veruca Salt - [Volcano Girls]). Or, another possibility: it's Both, and that's a wonderful thing, too. Another thinking i went off on, today...
"Why does no one seem to understand that "The way things are" and "The UNDERSTANDING," or way we conceptualize things are Very Much Linked. Our "Concepts" flow from our "Objective" reality, and our "Way things are" is shaped, contextualized. and Over-All Influenced by our concepts."
Then i wrote "fuckers," really big, on the page.... (Elastica - [Connection]). See, i always say things, in that class, and have people nod, and smile, and seem to get what i'm saying, but then they go directly back to picking... I think.. that i have a problem, here...
Collective Soul - [The World I Know]--- My problem is that i Want everyone to Pick a view, right? choose a way to see the world, and understand it. Things Is, i want to see that happen so that we can all move on from our standard points to gain an understanding, of the Larger picture. Use that Window, to jump from and see the world, and fly, from there... I'm really upset when the windows are All that they see.. That Section of the world, around them... I know that there's more, that i'm missing something... but i try to take it all in, too... I get their points, i see their reasoning.. But i think that it stops too short... Like everything else.. What a beautiful song for this rant, eh? Feh... conceit. Don't mind me... i'm holding insane standards, again, i guess..
I simply wanted to put that out there... Same as always... Trying to teach/learn/see it all.
