wolven7Weird Al - [Alternative Polka]--- So, the way it breaks down is like this: House of Leaves is a creepy book, to me, not for its content, or the things it discusses. It's nice to hear those things. And it's not the fact that it writes like a train of thought, or conversation. That's one of my favourite writing styles. (Weird Al - [Since You've Been Gone]). It's not the nature of darkness, or the frightening house, or any of that... It's the way it feels like it's Talking to me. Like i'm sitting in a room, and these few people are rambling, and pointing things out, and trying to show me things. And that's the thing that gets to me, about House of Leaves.
Weird Al - [Gump]--- The other stuff, going on, stems from feeling [physically/emotionally/ideologically] removed from a lot of people, due to the things i believe. That's the reason i've been referencing Epictetus, so much. (Weird Al - [So Sick of You]). There's no real reason, for it, except that it seems that everytime i open my mouth, someone takes something i say the wrong way. Not in every conversation, nor is it especially the person to whom the comment may have been addressed. Sometimes it's someone who has no prior context, and that makes it all the worse. Sometimes i simply don't know them well enough, and they don't know me, and they're simply getting twitchy. Sometimes it's a touchy subject. Whatever the reasons, people are increasingly not getting what i'm trying to say. This happened last year, around this time, too.
Weird Al - [Syndicated Inc.]--- No, i'm not going anywhere, those of you who remember that. I'm right here. Whether you're around, is something entirely different, but my goal still is, and hopefully always will be, understanding of view points, between all involved in communication... Or at least the patience to work toward it, without getting seriously pissed at each other.
So, i'm here. And i'm apologising, in advance, after the fact, and simply all around, if i'm unclear. Ask me for clarification, if you need it, and i'll do my best to provide it.
