Leaves' Eyes - [Mot Fjerne Land (Non-Album Track)]--- Shit-eating, bastard-fucking, hate-filled, ignorant, ignorant, IGNORANT FUCKERS. People who don't understand history may ask, "Why do they always go for the Libraries?" Well, kiddos, let me tell you why, right now:
A library, more than any other thing humans have ever made, is the physical, cared-for, curated promise of a wider, more inclusive world. A Library teaches us about the potential of human writing and art and knowledge to bring us to a better place, a more inclusive place, a place of multiculturalism and Pluralism.
Shukar Collective - Bar Boof--A Library holds texts and artefacts and artifacts which challenge our perceptions of the world. A library shows us that there is more to religion than zealotry, more to belief than stingy delusion, more to the search for something more than some fanatical heresies.
A library is the embodied, reified Fact that the search to be more and better can win over the petty, Greedy+Selfish=Zero Sum BULLSHIT that fanatics of all stripes want us to swallow. A Library is the place we can go to become more, stronger, and better.
So I tell you what I want, right now: I want every person who was responsible for this-- everyone who Did it, everyone who Ordered it, and everyone who stood by and Let It Happen. (Ethel Cee x Has-Lo x Curly Castro - [Pain Bringer (prod by Has-Lo)]). I want them all pulled together, in the centre of what's left of the library, and I want them Skinned and Boned.
You see, I want to make new copies of the books we lost, here, and the way I figure it, Blood calls to Blood.
