If you can help it, if you can afford it (mentally, emotionally, financially) find those people who are passionate about what you want to do because it is also what they want to do. Find these people and work with them. Be there for them, and understand when they can't be there for you.
Social Distortion - [She's a Knockout]--- You won't always be on the same page, because you're not the same people. You will differ as to implementation. Because you are different people. But that's the important part. You Are Different People. They will have ways of thinking about things that you don't. They will have experienced things that you haven't. They will be able to see the world in a different way, and offer that insight to you, when you need it. And you'll be able to do the same for them.
Work with those who are passionate about what you're doing.(The Lounge Lizards - [I Remember Coney Island]). Work with the people whose work you love. Tell the world about the work of those whose work you love, and hope that when the time comes, they'll stand by you to do the same.

Just don't expect it. No one owes you shit.
But if you love each other, if you help each other, if you're willing to do what it takes to get everybody out of the bucket-- if maybe the hand reaching down isn't going to drop you in a pot and the hand below you isn't trying to rip your legs off-- then maybe everybody can win. Just a little bit. Just enough.
Because the alternative is just too fucking depressing to think about.
