International People of Mystery

Me and unknownbinaries are in Birmingham, UK, and it's 10.21am, local time (5.21am, home time). We are checked into the hotel and have just partaken of the complimentary breakfast.

I have now stood on the soil of four distinct Atlantic-bound land masses (the US, Jamaica, Europe [Amsterdam], and England).

Dune Synchronicity

Oh oh oh! AND! I brought a shit ton of Dune-related stuff with me, right?

Well on the plane from Amsterdam to BHX, unknownbinaries points out to me that the guy across the aisle from me is, guess what? Reading Dune.

I caught his attention, held up my copy of the mini-series, we smiled and nodded at each other, and I went back to sleep.
