Find me on the tubes.
Jan. 15th, 2012 04:36 pmNadia Sohaei - 19th Century--- Want to talk to me on the internet? Well, considering that we're already on the internet, that's good:
I'm on Livejournal. A fact which should be, you know, obvious.
I post pictures of random shite, including myself, on Flickr, because sometimes random pictures are necessary.
Black Lung - 1.09 - Question Four--- I talk about random things on Twitter, because I believe that anything can be used to foster long-form conversation and the building of relationships. Anything.
I'm on Facebook, but that's really just become a forum for reposting the links and conversational starters I post on Twitter. Also interacting with different people.
I make sporadic use of LinkedIn, because the professional apparatus needs to be in place and maintained, as well.
I post songs using Blip.fm, sometimes even going so far as to make theme lists, and post songs pertaining to that theme, over the course of days.
I ask for questions on Formspring.me, because I like it when people posit fun, intelligent queries.
I pretend to be on BlogSpot, but I'm not really there.
I post and watch videos on Youtube, because I have videos to post and to watch.
The Paper Chase - Abby, You're Going To Burn For What You've Done To Me--- I write essays and articles at NeedCoffee.com, because crazy people with pop-culture opinion have to stick together.
The Gothsicles - Mix This Song Into A23's Maps of Reality--- I'm on Google Plus. Still. Mainly just for link proliferation. Somehow engenders even shallower conversation than Facebook. I should probably see it as a challenge...
And so, I ostensibly have a Tumblr, but it's really only for reading the posts of people I know who have Tumblrs. Much more interesting is Fuck Yeah! Consciousness!
An essay of mine appears in the book The Immanence of Myth, which is available from Weaponized Publishing.
I am Programming Chair of the Comics and Popular Arts Academic Conference at Dragon*Con.
I'm available for systems-related, magical, and/or events planning project consulting. Reasonable rates.
I teach at a University System of Georgia university.
So there you are, then. Many modes of contact. (Gary Numan - Dead Heaven). Much to know about me. Huzzah
