So, I got a job. Also: Banishing rituals

Starting Wednesday, I'll be training as the new cheese monger at Alon's Bakery in the Virginia-Highlands. Even though it is just part-time, I am thankful for a mercifully short period of being unemployed.

I just cleaned out my car with a combination of salt, sage, and frankincense. Set aside some of that for other purposes. Set the whole of the remaining mixture on fire, rubbed the ashes on certain surfaces, flushed the remnants, salt scrubbed the mortar and pestle. Feeling pretty good about that.

Time to finish cooking bacon.
