So, Friday I Applied for 5 Jobs.
Jul. 10th, 2011 10:45 pmOne of the jobs I applied for, on Friday, was a part-time adjunct position, at Savannah College of Art and Design's Atlanta Campus. And let us just say that the SCAD job application process moves very quickly.
Already rejected.
To give you some sense of scale, I put the partial application in at around 11am. Heard back about the next step in the application process, at 4pm. Put in the full application in at about 5.45pm. At 6.21pm, I received a rejection letter.
Seven. Fucking. Hours.
Trying not to let it get to me. I keep trying to tell myself that they're probably looking for someone, in particular, and that they'd probably be better served if they just sent an e-mail saying "Hey, Sheila? If you apply for this job, You Will Get It."
But whatever. I've applied and applied and applied. The next step is shelling out the cash to retake the GRE, and re-applying to various MA and PhD Programs. Hooray.
Anyway. Ask me questions: http://formspring.me/Wolven
