Android Lust – Linguae--- You must remember that there are two different modes of viewing the Gift of Tongues, delivered during the Pentecost.
1) As the ability to speak in A Language which would be heard and understood by any and all, regardless of their native speech.
2) As the ability to Speak Any Language, individually.
One of these has the weight of revelation, of direct communication. The other has the subtler imressing weight of intellect and intent, giving the air of someone who took the time to learn All Of These Languages (even though they did not).
But there is also... Sense. Knowledge of What Things Are, of what they mean and call themselves, of the practice of deciphering the language of the thing itself.
And it's been way too long since... Well. Since.
Android Lust - [Lover Thine]--- Too long since conversations in comfortable places with comfortable people, since double blind energetic experiments with astounding results, since singing and screaming and Language Components, tearing and exploring the meanings of words and things, accessing and dragging their True Selves, from them, in a way that the whole world can see, and use.
Too long since there was more than a sense of power, in words, and, instead, a damn near certainty of Which Words Had What Powers.
Too long without practice, and we eventually forget how to Ask Things Their Names.
Which is all to say, I once had a friend who could "speak in tongues" (or write in them), send senses and images, and I would interpret and translate them, more specifically and clearly, and she disappeared, years ago, and I miss her.
