Dreams of having to teach rivals. What i did, yesterday.

I dreamed of a Satanist cult, houseed in a church, trying to Convert people, by fear and shocking tactics, and I had to show them that their way was crap. That what they were doing was meaningless, out of place, and, above all, rude and disrespectful. To me. They were all flash and immediacy, in their magic, actions, and style. I was subtlety and Permanent Effect. I broke their minds, and cracked/poisoned their souls, for all time.

So that was fun.

We went to cailement's welcome hoome party, last night, which w as a lot of fun. Games and conversation and seeing people. Very good time.

Toward the end, though, i had that restless, unsettled feeling i've been getting a lot, lately. The need to just get in a car and go anywhere but "Home." The need to have a fucking Adventure, goddamnit. Well, no real adventure, but mech_angel and I went to the bar, and hung out for a bit, and talked. Had the Allagash White Ale. Very tasty. Jessica, our prefered waitress, wasn't there, but we still had a pretty good time.

Before all that, had dinner with my family, as my dad, step-mother, youngest sister and our nephew were all in town. Fried chicken and braised spare ribs. Delicious.

Pretty good day, all told, even if some individual parts were not exactly optimal.
