You Will Help.
Oct. 19th, 2007 12:25 amI know that some of you are extremely interested in the burgeoning Zombie Culture aesthetic, and/or are into film production. Here is a chance for your first, second, or simply More exposure.
Those of you with your own FILM PRODUCTION companies, and BIG-ASSED MOVIE DEALS should not be offended or threatened. What is this, but an opportunity to work together, network, and build a group of Right People?
Precisely. Don't get pissed. Do the work. Details below.
'Saturday Oct 27th 8:00 am, Georgia Tech Student Center 2nd FL Lobby.
'MomoCon will be shooting a segment of 2008's opening ceremonies video and needs your help in assembling the largest zombie horde Georgia Tech has ever seen.
'* All zombies will be fully credited for their rolls.
* A select few may be chosen for close-ups and action sequences.
* All participants will be automatically entered into an on site raffle.
* Light refreshments will be available (as supplies last).
* Campus parking is free on weekends.
'Zombies are to be the slow grey-skinned shambling type (exp: the original "Night of the Living Dead"). Our make-up budget is limited so anyone bringing their own is much appreciated. Please keep the gore effects to the minimum (PG range ie no gaping wounds or severed limbs). Participants must be able to take direction; the smoother the filming process the more enjoyable the day will be.
'Filming Schedule Saturday 10/27:
'* 8:00am, 2nd Floor Lobby Student Center, Georgia Tech Campus. Sign-in, reciept of raffle ticket, and make-up.
'* 8:50am, zombies lead to shooting location.
'* 9:00am, Estimated start of filming. Total shooting approx. 4-6 hours. Zombies are welcome to take breaks between shots and set-ups. The raffle will be held immediately after the day's shooting.
'Please RSVP or direct any questions to MomoCon [DOT] Guests [AT] gmail [DOT] com with [ZOMBIE] in the subject line.
'Thanks, and we hope to see you there!'
