wolven7: (The Very Devil)
I've been having some trouble getting section three started, continued, finished, or in other ways, you know, written, and I've also been having issue clearing my head, dealing with old thoughts, the general things i do... Well, none of it was working, but it all came together, all at once, yesterday, talking to my dad, thinking about the things I wrote here, [last week], reading [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel's comments, and it all connected with my thesis.

Think about it: the levels of vested interest in the propigation of ideas dictates what gets the most visibility. I can't really say more, as they're not completely my ideas, but I can say that I've worked out that the observation of consistent correlation between experimentation and observed effect is the only thing we use to build sytems of confirmation. This isn't science, it's the meta-system, the over-arching criteria in which science is built. If we know the input necessary at X, we can find consistent observations at Y.

Science uses specific measurements and values (X=gravitation, magnetism, C as a constant, etc.) to perform experimentation that confirms or falsifies theories of universal continuance and composition (Y=Relativity, quantum mechanics, string theory, Newtonian mechanics, etc.).

Magic? A different system, with different inputs. I have some thoughts as to what those inputs are, and how to classify them, but the point is that we are always dealing in Systems, even if we call it Chaos, because it's how we know how to make sense of the world. The point is to see the value in the systems, and learn to map them onto each other, to gain new insights; to have a vested interest in each system.

That's how we overcome the apathy problem. We appeal to interests.

I'm not going to say much more, yet, until I get it written, but you'll know.

Talk to you soon.
