I'm pretty sure I worked out the mystery to "The Lost Room." And if I'm right, it's so utterly banal and ordinary, that it is truly wonderful.

The solution to a mystery has to either be utterly mysterious, itself, or it has to be so ordinary as to be baffling. And then you can only hint at it.

Let's see if i'm right.

Also, why is it that whenever someone.... Wait... nope. Lost it.

The Platters - [Smoke Gets in Your Eyes]--- Dreamed of meeting Zoroaster, having conversations in Sumerian/Speaking in Enochian Scripts, somehow, and discussings, with DaVinci, the many names and faces of Michel-angelo. Something about a house that was this house, and the house my mother owns, as well as that of a cousin of mine, as it had a basement. (Flogging Molly - [Factory Girls (w/ Lucinda Williams)]). Sitting in the basement, having conversations with [livejournal.com profile] techiecl and [livejournal.com profile] karishi about how I seemed to have moved 7 weeks, in one month, Soemthing about taking out the trash, avoiding being hit by cars, Bruce Wayne, and something about a room that should/n't be there, on one side of the house.

Lost Room, right before bed.

Honda Asimo falls down stairs like old person, invalid

Rasputina - [When I Was a Young Girl]--- "Respectful Insolence: The Real Cause of 9/11". Read the name of the blog; don't come crying to me, if it pisses you off.

"British police were racing against time on Wednesday to find the killer of five women, all thought to be prostitutes, before another person dies." As [livejournal.com profile] wacko1138 noted, when he passed these on to me, one of the victims is named Ann[ette] Nicholls and the lead detective's name is Gull.

Mel Brooks - [The Inquisition]--- Today, for me, is all about grading exams, and entering them into the gradebook. How about you?

Oh, and there was something in the dream about a conversation with my dad, while driving through the North Carolina mountains, taking back roads, to DC.
