wolven7: (The Very Devil)
Katzenjammer Kabarett - [The Crowd Around]--- You all have many and diverse talents. I need you to believe me, and use them.

I need a place to get conference kits made: T-Shirts, note-pads, pens, tote-bags, that kind of thing.

I need a good restaurant, in the city, the reservation price of which is not too high (above $2,000), and is about $50-$60/ plate, and willing to accept 180-200 people, at a time in early- to mid-August.

Katzenjammer Kabarett - [L'Amiral Cherche Une Maison à Louer]--- I need some sort of entertainment, for that many people, same time frame.

I need an audio/visual company, that can handle 4 days worth of PowerPoint, computer, projection, light, and television display, at less than $20,000. Far less.

Katzenjammer Kabarett - [Eve At The Mansion]--- If/When you send things to me, it would be great if your could include or point me toward a sampling of the work.

There're other Things like funding, sponsorship, et cetera, which I'll have to take care of, personally, along with my co-worker, and professor, but i figure: I've got such a wide network of contacts from which to pull, I really should make use of that, and i'm sure my co-worker's doing the same.

So, there it is.

Thanks.

Time for food.

Katzenjammer Kabarett - [The Crowd Around]--- The start of this school semester has seen me wanting to punch random freshpersons in the face. A lot.

Katzenjammer Kabarett - [L'Amiral Cherche Une Maison à Louer]--- Some days I wan to vomit on people in rage and dismissal, and then punch them until they stop trying to resist. This is what the beginning of the semester does to me.

My metaphysics class is as hot and humid, and pungent, as the inside of someone's mouth, and there are forty of us packed into this relatively small room. (Katzenjammer Kabarett - [Eve At The Mansion]). This makes for short tempers, very edgy and raw nerves, and a generally unprofitable learning situation. It Pisses me Off. People are not listening to each other, now allowing people to work through their trains of thought, and generally running over each other, to try to be right. I'm going to end up yelling at people, and i'm probably going to make someone cry. This prospect gladdens my heart, as if it were a calm, pleasant second Christmas.

I hate you all.

Do something worthy, damn it. Display some kind of courage, intelligence, planning, or caring. Something.

Jeesus wept, this place makes me angry.

Off, now. Work to do.

Genius

Rasputina - [When I Was a Young Girl]--- "Whenever a man's life is at once sufficiently lustrous and recordeed with sufficient fullness to be subject of profitable study, he inevitably falls into the morbid category. . . And it is worthy of remark that, as a rule, the greater the genius, the greater the unsoundness." - Nisbet

Katzenjammer Kabarett - [Katzenjammer Kids]--- Always said, the smarter you are, the more socially and interpersonally inept you probably are. Your best bet is to find the people with whom you can most often deal, and stick to them.

Back to work.
