This is a STORY. none of this actually happened. Well, the dinner party did, and is happening as i type.... And my friends and i have had conversations about cannibalism... but have not, in fact, killed and eaten anyone. Yet. Hey, dood, Nuclear winter, and this shit's all up for grabs, ya heard? Anyway, the majority of this is a fiction. Enjoy.

i'm not at home. i'm at a friend's house, where she has decided to cook dinner, for all of her friends. The dinner party is going splendidly, and there are all sorts of wonderful things to eat. There's Chilli, and hot dogs, and hamburgers, and salad, and many many wonderful things. i comment on the great taste to our host, and she says, "Yes, I thought you might like it. It took me forever to catch them." We stare at her, in silence, for a few moments.

Finally i work up the courage. "Them?" i ask.

"Yes," she says. "Finding lean people in this town, prepareing the bodies, grinding the meat, deboning, and cleaning it all takes so much Effort. the actual finding is the hardest part though." She pauses and takes another bite of her hamburger. She swallows. "All in all, quite worth the effort, though."

We sit, stricken, unable to speak for several minutes. Eventually i manage to think of somehing to say. "You've got a point," i say through a mouth full of meat patty. Everyone else nods their agreement. It's rude to speak with your mouth full.

"They all deserve to die; tell ya why, Mrs. Lovett, tell ya why; cause of all the people in this world, Mrs. Lovett, there are two kinds of people, only two; there's the one that stays in his proper place and the one with a boot in the other one's face; Look at me, Mrs. Lovett, look at you!"
