*shrug* what feels dead to you feels much the same as it has always been to me. almost everyone i follow (including communities) are as active as they have been. it's true that some have fallen away but the ultimate purpose of my own journal remains unchanged and my usage of it remains as steady as it has ever been.

your cats miss you. i dont know which one is doing it but they keep leaving me delightful gifts of vomit in the kitchen to express their woe over having been abandoned. fortunately no one seems to have decided to vomit on your bed this time around (but i'll continue checking daily just to be on the safe side).

it got cold again after you left - like down to 31 degrees. we turned the heater on. but now it looks like it's going to be 70 today and we'll be turning it right back off again.

today is ice cream and sorbet day in the baking&pastry class. i am forbidden from bringing any of it home (so says the teacher) and it would be hard to bring home anyway. we get to make waffle cones, though. if we have extras of those, i'm totally bringing them home to share.

I guess my posts as of late are not loud enough, maybe Ill put them in bright pink font next time.

It seems to me that a lot of people left lj for other blogs or fb. I got rid of my face book. I do not miss it.

Your posts are plenty loud, but I can go for three days, now, and only have to click back One Page to read what I've missed. As I have 176 people I read, on this thing, that shouldn't even be possible.

But, yes. Other blogs, other forms....

When the zombies rise, I plan to sit back and direct them as their Zombie Master.

This season of Walking Dead seems... disjointed. I don't really give as much of a shit about Rick, Laurie, and Shane's problems as the writers seem to want me to. I want to get back to where we're moving through Everyone's perspectives. Where the hell is T-Dog, you know? Give me more depth and character.

Tumblr is... weird. It's like a braindump of the highest order. Reposting posts you like, but with the ability to add more and extra to them. Short messages, pictures, videos, text... I think of it as kind of a 2-D version of all the Holographic VR Internets we were promised.

Zombie master hmm? well if that happens there will be a reckoning...

I agree its too focused on Rick, Lori, and Shane. Which annoys me. Though Dale has gotten on my last nerve as has Carl, and Andrea. Though I guess I do not have to worry about Dale anymore.
Personally if Lori and Carl were to be killed I would not shed a tear. I was sad when Sophia did not make it. Though the way the time line ran it made it hard to figure out how long they were looking. I still say that Hershel and Otis knew Sophia was in the barn.
The way they are taking Daryl is not all that great, who saw that coming? *raises hand*

Hmmm.. Since you asked this, we had some food from the Amish Market, up north, when we went to visit my dad. Smoked turkey and ribs, as well as a ham and white bean soup. Pretty fantastic stuff.
