wolven7Bush has said that he doesn't need congressional approval to go to war, with Iraq. He says he has all the authority he needs. Technically, though, we never officially closed our declaration of war on them, so he is right, but we are SO Fucked. This, coupled with the fact that we've, technically, been under Marshal Law, since the late forties, does nothing for my confidence about the state and direction of this Representative Republic, we call home. That and income tax was supposed to end after WWII.
Other than that, i didn't get the place, today. A series of mix-ups, that were really no one's fault, and the lack of communication with my then-imminent roommate were to blame. Basically, i never got in touch with them, and i didn't have a ride, or, most importantly, the money. Whoops. I'm hoping that one of them will be online, later tonight, so that i can figure out if the pooch has yet been Totally screwed, or if it's only a Late-Night-On-HBO type screwing. Hmm...
For some reason, i don't remember the dreams, from last night, but they seemed to have been a continuation of thing from before, and i remember myself saying, in-Dream, "This is the same material as the blanket that Washington used, to cross the Delaware. We'll be fine." And that was in regards to my comforter, as i pulled it over my head. I think i was planning war, or something... That and i remember something about dream sex... I didn't feel tired, this morning, or at all today, so it obviously wasn't succubi... *shrug* i'm sure it'll come to me, during the day, tomorrow. Good influences, and all that.
Tonight was my first official night of homework doingness... German homework.. I still have readings to do, and Journals, and so on... *shudder* At least i got a damn job, though, right? Oh, yeah and by the way.... i got the job. Starting at $9 and hour, which is good, since i only have 8 hours a week, to start. I start in two weeks, and i work from 11pm, Satyr Day night, to 7 am, Son's Day morning. Fun But hell, why not, right? It's cash, and i do need that... Food, and all that... Speaking of things i need, i'm going to need to have a couple of days to get myself back in the game, as it were... i've been so busy, as to have let myself slide, a bit... Nicht Mehr! And so on.
Other than that, i'm off to see what's what in the wide world of the Internet... May be back later.
