A bit of a lull

wolven7Sorry for the slow-down in communications, regarding projects, everyone. I've been trying to get some ducks in some rows, and that's been requiring a bit of focus.
So. A brief aside, before we get back into it; a little time in the hottub, before getting into the pool, if you will.
Thinking about this quote

in relation to what I'm trying to get done. I believe in that quote, a great deal. That there should be no true "limit" to what you can learn to do, and what you can adapt yourself into. I believe in that idea, a great deal. But I also know that there are things at which I am better than others. Other things, other people, other carbon mbased conceptual forms. Whatever. Others. Same goes for you. You do not have the sasme level of procifiency at everything or as everyone. Nor should you. That would be a little too Brave New World/1984/No-Child-Left-Behind for my tastes. What I want, though, is a recognition of that inherent potential to do those things...
You should be able to do the things Heinlein exhorts you to do. If you so choose to do them. You should have the resources at your disposal to learn these things, and sustain yourself, if you want to put that into use. These things can make your place in the world a bit brighter, more defenisble, more easily held, by you, in whatever fashion you see fit. Languages, maths, skills, trades, all of it.
That's all I'm saying.
What's one thing that you want to learn [to do], that you don't think you have the time/money/resources to learn? What do you think you'd need, to get it done?
I need to go brush my teeth.
