True, but I would think that there is always the option to resist an amount of that change.

Plus, there's the question of "Who/what were you that you took on the title, to begin with?"

There's a feat you can get from Arcana Unearthed/Evolved by the name of "Title". Along with some friendly in-game benefits, the title in question gets added to your name. Three other people (not clear whether it's in- or out-of-game) have to decide what the title is.

I think it's awesome that it has to come from other people's ideas of you, as well as yourself. That's telling.
