This year was the fourth year of the Academic Mini-Conference, at Dragon*Con, and the year of our best attendance and participation, yet. We've sextupled the number of panel presentations, and at least quadrupled the number of individual participants, since 2008.

As i've said before, the Academic Conference is dedicated to exploring all of the pop-culture icons we all love through the lenses of various academic disciplines, as well as showing academia the value that pop-culture can bring to it. We work with all of the Track Directors to bring together fans and creators of various media with professionals working within various disciplines to present a full and nuanced take on comics, shows, movies, and books that we all enjoy.

This year was the biggest year yet for CPAAC, and we'd like to ask those of you who attended, presented at, or wandered through any of the CPAAC events, this year, or have done so in past years, to please take five minutes to answer this survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7WNLB6R

In doing so, you'll be helping us to better gauge fan interest, so that we can make sure that our programming meets desires.

If you did attend Dragon*Con, but didn't attend CPAAC, that's fine; just Comment here with a reason why not, and that'll help too.

Thanks.
